The Flowers To Give Your Girls This Galentine’s Day

How much do you love your girlfriends? Well enough to have an entire day devoted to celebrating them? We at Gordon Boswell agree, and guess what? There’s a day for that.

The idea for Galentine’s Day was first proposed in a 2010 episode of NBC’s Parks and Recreation when main character Leslie Knope took all of her ladies out to a long lunch and gave them gifts the day before Valentine’s Day. She called it “Galentine’s,” and the rest is history. Each year, more and more women are taking the chance to celebrate their friendships on February 13th.

Naturally, we can help with the gifts part, having a variety of arrangements and designs that are just perfect for your girls. Given the fact that the next day your bestie will be receiving red roses and chocolates, opt for something equally beautiful but a little lighter in feeling. We’re loving our Bright and Stunning for this occasion.

Here we have girlish pinks, yellows (the symbolic color of friendship), and a pop of orange for good measure. This is one of our most cheerful and upbeat bouquets; it’s so pretty without trying too hard. Imagine having this sent to your bestie at her workplace, or better still, taking three of these and making a centerpiece grouping on your dining room table. Then have your girls over for a Galentine’s dinner and tell them each to take some flowers when they leave.
