Welcoming Spring Through Flowers

Extreme weather is nothing new to North Texas, and the Fort Worth area knows that all too well. But one of the best things about spring in Texas, and not just the Fort Worth area, is the abundance of wildflowers that sprout up everywhere. That’s no exaggeration, either. Our Gordon Boswell customers may get to enjoy an abundance of wildflowers as they bloom in sequence anywhere all over Texas, but those small flowers aren’t suited to cutting.

We encourage you to bring the feeling of spring into every room in your home, and into your workplace. Do it with flowers we aren’t used to seeing in our gardens, and cut flowers that are ideal for vases and flower arrangements. For our Butterfly Field arrangement, we filled a clear glass bubble vase with purple freesias, cheerful white daisies, sunny yellow tulips, and hot pink asters. We add some feathery greenery for texture and contrast. This explosion of color is unlike anything you’re looking at outside, so it’s a fantastic way to bring bright spring colors into your home. This arrangement has a bonus – the delightful fragrance it emits.

Flowers are ideal for brightening any space. They elevate moods, increase productivity and help people relax. If pink, purple, yellow and white aren’t appealing to you, that’s okay. You can always count on the experienced floral design team at Gordon Boswell to help you select the perfect flowers to put in your home, workplace, or as a gift for any occasion – or no occasion, when you’re giving yourself the gift of flowers.
