Few things lift the spirits like receiving the gift of flowers. They are a symbol of nature’s beauty and the precious, delicate nature of life. Gordon Boswell Flowers is pleased to provide a range of options in their floral selection. From bouquets to wrist corsages and boutonnieres, we can meet all your floral needs.
The month of February is packed with romance. We celebrate Valentine’s Day and Creative Romance in the same month. As usual, we count on the creativity of the Gordon Boswell floral design experts to come up with a massive selection of creative and romantic flower arrangements that combine the best seasonal flowers that are available to us.
Our talented team of floral designers here at Gordon Boswell are constantly looking ahead to the next creative challenge. When they get the opportunity to customize arrangements, they eagerly accept them, thrilled to work within your specifications or to create something on their own that will blow you away. Every occasion that calls for a custom bouquet is different, but we know that each scenario is filled with emotion, and we try to reflect that emotion in the pieces we craft for you.

As we look forward to 2018, International Floral Distributors gives us one more thing to get excited about with their annual floral design trend report. This year’s capture includes a variety of styles, but we’re highlighting one in this week’s blog. We love “Magnificent Mediterranean” for its rich tones of orange, gold and blue, meant to invoke the Mediterranean landscape.
Are you ready for Thanksgiving?
Your answer may fall somewhere between “not remotely” and “absolutely,” and if so, you wouldn’t be alone. There is so much planning, preparing and execution to be done if you’re hosting Turkey Day in your home that it’s tough to feel completely prepared. But what if you’ve been graciously invited into someone else’s home for the big day? If that’s the case, we here at Gordon Boswell Flowers encourage you to remember one of your most important duties as a Thanksgiving guest: the host gift.
Oh, dahlias. Is there a more delightful (and more on trend) flower? We at Gordon Boswell know the field is crowded with candidates, but we humbly submit our dazzlers for your consideration. Fort Worth is teeming with pumpkin patches, festivals and friendly farms celebrating the season, and we know you’re prepping your home for it, too. So do yourself a favor and add the richly complex dahlia to your decorating scheme.

Recognized as both a visionary and pioneer in floral art education, Rittner helped to elevate floral design to an art form. In 1995, Governor William F. Weld of Massachusetts, proclaimed this day as Floral Design Day, and this month we celebrate the artistic professionals who make gorgeous flowers a part of our everyday life. Continue reading
